Cliffs

Here's a much larger painting I did a couple days ago of my favorite subject, La Jolla. I've been doing a lot with acrylic lately. Sometimes I just focus on one particular thing and other times I'm a bit more diverse. I'm thinking about doing some more complex comic art or techy illustration but it can be really difficult to be so technical for hours and hours. I guess my head doesn't work that way. It doesn't mean I can't do it, it just feels more like work than play when I do. Sometimes it's hard to convince myself to go through one of those drawings again. It's not that a painting like this isn't difficult, it's just difficult in a different way.
