Here's another drawing of La Jolla. You'll notice that it's in the same style of many of my previous drawings like the turtle and the fish. This one I did with brush ink and oil pastel on rough paper. Over the last year I've been working on this style. I come from a bold line art style from drawing comics for many years and I wanted to see how that style applies to normal subject manner. I used to draw really refined technical drawings but they always lack emotion and energy so lately I've been experimenting with more rough techniques to see if it makes them more interesting. Someday I'd like to paint La Jolla using Acrylics or Oil but I've never painted in anything other than watercolor.
