Italy

Here's a ink and watercolor picture I drew of some ad from a travel magazine. I liked the detail in all the buildings. Sorry about not posting for a while. For the last week and a half I've been working for the Landscape Architect I worked for before. Trying to draw commercially is a lot different than drawing for yourself. Normally you can push yourself at your own leisure, but in the commercial world you are forced to push your limits, sometimes at the cost of your own mental and physical well being. Most commercial artists whether they are 3d modelers for film companies, concept artists, or commercial illustrators spend 10 hour days in front of a computer or a drafting table. I can't imagine that. All art has its root in real life, but if your working all the time and not experiencing real life, then your art has to suffer.
