I've been drawing from screenshots from movies and television that I've compiled over the years on my computer. Here are three of the nine I've done so far. The first is from "I Robot", an ok film, the second from "Munich" a really good film and a so, so drawing, and the third is from "Veronica Mars" filmed at San Diego State. I wasn't trying to get their likenesses and some of their faces are a little wacky looking. Mostly, I was trying to understand the elements that comprise a shot in a film, and boy, there are many. No wonder movies cost millions of dollars, everything on screen is done by somebody. Wednesday, February 6, 2008
Films
