Here's a quick drawing I did a while back of La Jolla Cove. I spend a lot of time there, walking, swimming and going to restaurants. A lot of people like it because it feels very European. I guess that's true, but I've never been to Europe so I wouldn't know. I've drawn or painted La Jolla Cove several times, and it's my fallback if I don't know what to draw. This one was an experiment done with brush ink, prismacolor pencils on rough pastel paper. I kind of like the texture. It's supposed to be pretty rough.Wednesday, February 20, 2008
The Cove
